MoV Qualification Scheme

The MoV Qualification Scheme is developed by the APM Group Ltd in partnership with the Cabinet Office and The Stationery Office (TSO).

The APM Group accredit a network of training organisations including their trainers and course materials, to be able to offer MoV courses and examinations.

There are two MoV qualifications - Foundation level and Practitioner level.

Foundation Examination

The exam format is as follows:

• Multiple choice
• 50 questions per paper
• 25 marks required to pass (out of 50 available) - 50%
• 40 minutes duration
• Closed book.

Practitioner Examination

The Foundation qualification is a pre-requisite for the Practitioner qualification.

• Objective testing format
• 8 questions per paper with 10 marks available per question - all question items will be worth 1 mark, making the total number of marks available per paper 80
• 2.5 hours duration
• 40 marks required (out of 80 available) to pass - 50%
